This product is easy to install and works great! My last water heater was the same Whirpool water heater but it started spilling water every where on the basement floor one month after moving into my new home. The previous owners neglected to care for it or soften the water going through it. The water heater clogged up with lime and half of the heating element died. Even though the previous water heater was a whirpool that spilled water every where......it was 12 years old. However, this new water heater was easy to install and began to heat the water in no time! I would totally recommend this product. If cared for correctly this product has potential to last a long time. November 16, 2012
New Can't really rate product just yet but our plumber said it was an excellent product and I think he would know. So far so good but the one thing we did not like which has nothing to do with the product is that it's located in the attic in a TINY crawlspace. Good thing our plumber was not a very big person. Will review again in a few months after we have had a chance to use it. Our old one was a RHEEM and it was 21 yrs old! September 18, 2014
Good buy I installed this almost exact same model in 2001. A few weeks ago I noticed water leaking from around the bottom. So 13 years on a product with a 6 year warranty is a good deal Also got a $25 credit on my electric bill from my power provider. September 17, 2014
excellent product Good products LOVE whirlpool appliances never had any issues with them lowered my electric bills September 14, 2014
Easy for a DIY Very easy to install yourself! Great packaging. Great value for the price! September 13, 2014
Good company We have replace our whirlpool water heater several times but our City has hard water. September 9, 2014
This product will be adequate for my needs at the present time. Product was reasonably easy to install, (I switched from a natural gas heater to electric), about what I expected in appearance and quality for the price range. Recovery rate is a little slower than desirable, but will suffice for the amount of water we use. September 8, 2014
Back for seconds! I had to replace my water heater, it was 12 years old and leaking on top. It just happened that it only had a 6 year warranty. Do the math, I replaced with same brand same model...very easy to install. September 8, 2014
Easy to install This seems to be a good product. This is the first Whirlpool brand water heater I've purchased though. It was simple to install. September 7, 2014
this was a wonderful upgrade to our previous water heater The purchase of this water heater was a wonderful upgrade to our previous cabinet water heater. I like that we are able to actually see the water heater as well as the controls. We've not had it a month yet, so unfortunately I'm unable to comment on how reliable it is but it has been doing great so far!! September 7, 2014
