This product is easy to install and works great! My last water heater was the same Whirpool water heater but it started spilling water every where on the basement floor one month after moving into my new home. The previous owners neglected to care for it or soften the water going through it. The water heater clogged up with lime and half of the heating element died. Even though the previous water heater was a whirpool that spilled water every where......it was 12 years old. However, this new water heater was easy to install and began to heat the water in no time! I would totally recommend this product. If cared for correctly this product has potential to last a long time. November 16, 2012

Bought this model to replace this model I purchased this model to replace the existing water heater in my house, which was this exact same model, installed 8 years ago. The old model seemed to hold up well, but showed signs of rust around the elements (on inside of the tank) and near the nipple on top (on inside of the tank) and what appeared to be around the lower bottom seam of the tank (on the inside when viewed w flashlight). It had not leaked but decided to replace it anyways. The Rust was most likely due to hard water in this area and the total dissipation of the Anode rod, probably years before without being noticed. Old elements were also caked in scale. The new tank was exact same dimensions and installed right in place. Its whisper quite since the elements are clean and expect to get atleast 10+ years from this tank, given that more care is paid to yearly flushings and checking the anode rod. My only issue with the new tank is around the nipples on top. I installed brass male fittings. The female intlets were a bit rough/rusty and had flakes of metal which caused a very small weeping from the hot/cold inlets (equivalent to 1 drop per 15 min). It eventually took teflon tape + pipe dope on tape and a pipe wrench to tighten them tight enough so that it would stop weeping. The brass male fitting on hot water side screwed in about 2 inches deeper than the cold water side before the leaking stopped. Even with that small issue, I would recommend this tank as no frills replacement water heater. I expect to get 10+ years from it this time. April 14, 2015

This product is a great quality for the price! After going a very long time resetting my old water heater everyday just to have hot water everyday, I am very thankful to finally have a great-functioning, reliable, new electric hot water heater. I cannot tell you what it means to me to have this worry off of me finally. I am a worrying type of person, so I have plenty on my mind to begin with, so I didn't need this problem to be one of them. I have had this product installed now for 4 days and it is working great. The water stays hot and at a normal temperature. So, thank you for the great quality product at the wonderful low price that I was able to get it for. Sincerely, Bobbie Hinkle April 13, 2015
product was priced good the installation a difficult due to the lac of parts that would be used to connect the water lines, entering and exiting, the threaded nipples should be provided along with an extra diode rod so that it would last the warranty limit at least. April 13, 2015
bargain price seems ok so far ......we'll see how it goes. I don't like to boast, gloat, brag, and or hot dog, seems to leave an awful taste from time to time. April 12, 2015
very easy to put in only you remove the old one. I did not want to do the install the hotwatertank myself but my wife reader the book on how to do it, then we remove the old one the rest was easy. April 11, 2015
Easy to install and works well This heater was reasonably priced and easy to install. It heated the water quickly and runs very quietly. All in all, a very good water heater. April 11, 2015
