Totally safisfied with Whirlpool Electric WH performance
I replaced my 13year old Gas Water Heater with a new Whirlpool Electric and am so glad that I did this. The installation of the New water heater went off without a hitch. The factory settings for the temperature of the water is working perfect for our household needs. Too soon to tell, but am very confident that I will save money over the long all by switching to the Electric Heater.

Nice Unit
Easy home setup. The only complaint I have is that the drain is plastic - but then again, most all new heaters have plastic drains...

water heater was easy to install and was a great value. just installed it so i can't vouch for longevity, but other reviews didn't complain about it's durability. great basic water heater.

I like the design dimensions and the warranty.
I am happy to have this waterheater because I like Whirlpool products and have had many in the past. This waterheater replaces one that was 40 gallons. It still fit and seemed easy to install. The water is nice and hot--and the temperature is easy to adjust. I am no spring chicken and I hope it lasts as long as I do!

4 Hour relacement
One of the easiest water heaters i have worked with. Yes this removal of the old installation of the new unit took only 4 hours, and that was even with a second trip to get some additional hardware to make it even easier to replace if ever need be. Excellent unit for an amazing price.

Life expectancy was too short
My most recent purchase of a water from Whirlpool only lasted four years. I have a water softening system to alleviate hard water and chlorine. The tank had a blowout through the top of both male threaded connections coming out the tank. I still purchased another Whirlpool water heater due to convenience. Hope to have better luck with this one.

Excellent hot water heater
Easy to install. Took longer though than expected. Wish the thermostat gauge was easier to set instead of just guessing what the setting would be. We did have to set the temperature higher because the preset temp was not hot enough.
