40 Gallon Electric Water Heater - E2H40RD045V
Was easy to install, hands on instructions,,,I did need to buy 3/4" nipples, but was ok with that. I would recommend this product

Installed in a manufactured home with limited space for it.
Because of Government intervention forcing water heater companies to create larger diameter unit that will not fit manufactured home water heater spaces, I had to buy this unit now, or create a larger closet to contain the new government required size.

product appears fine, only had 1 day heated up right away
wish it had relief on top so i wouldnt have to alter my discharge piping. Also, someone needs to tell supplier that you must purchase the heat trap nipples , because copper fittings will not fit into your in and out water lines !!!!! (on tank)

Good Product name
It is hard to review when I only had it installed today. I am satisfied with the brand name, Whirlpool.

WHIRLPOOL HAS BEEN AROUND A LONG TIME AND IS VERY DEPENDABLE. I HOPE IT DOES LAST AS LONG AS THE WARRANTY AND EVEN LONGER.

This is a great replacement with a solid longer life warranty product. No real frills but a good product with a user replaceable anode rod. No digital controls to burn out or overheat. Works with a gray-box timer with no problems. T & P (Temp. & Pressure) relief is factory installed on the side. No obvious visible top mounting available but a poly cover plug is visible on the top cover in the customary position. I replaced a 6-year warranty unit with this 9-year warranty unit from Lowe's. almost same exact dimensions and the water lines were an exact matchup. Greatly simplified the change-out process. future details and operational cost savings are pending. Just installed within past 2 days. Too early to tell. An additional important note, no nipples were included with this unit. I was able to reuse the CPVC originals so all was good for me. What was a surprise was a pair of pre-slit 24" insulation sleeves to insulate the supply or outlet lines. Not the super nice rubber insulation but the stiffer dark-gray/black poly type.
