Easy install Product was easy to install. Instruction were very clear and to the point. December 17, 2014
Product Usage I installed this unit a week ago so my review is somewhat short because I've only used this unit twice since installation. However it was easy to install. I haven't noticed an increase in water pressure as one might expect with a new unit but its probably do to the restrictor in the output line for the hot water. (The instructions said not to remove them so I didn't.) Other than that the unit seems to be preforming good. I only have the heat setting on 120 degrees so it takes a little longer to notice hot water at end use. December 11, 2014
Great Features and easy replacement warrenty Excellent Customer Care, as this is a replacement water heater. No problems ~ EZ process ! Highly recommended ! December 3, 2014
Product has the features I needed We have way too many power outages to consider anything other than a heater with old fashion analogue controls. Our power goes out then immediately within microseconds comes back on, and may continue to flip on and off for several cycles. This has caused three, very costly digital control panels in our Whirlpool double ovens to burn out within the past few years. Most of the better new water heaters have touch panel digital controls, so I was pleased to find Whirlpool still sells an analogue unit, even though I had to special order it, and it took three weeks to receive it from Lowes. Installation.was straight forward, quick and simple. December 3, 2014
Big red sticker Should put big red sticker on unit informing installer not turn power ON until the unit is full and water lines are flowing. I know it is buried in the manual but I read it after the fact and burned-out upper heating element. December 1, 2014
This product has great features and was easy to install Have not had it long, but so far it is doing great. No sound coming from it and plenty of hot water. October 27, 2014

Simple Design and Great Value We purchased the E2H50RD045V water heater at Lowe's on 10/11/14 and had them install it on 10/13/14. We chose this heater because of its simple design and great value. Plus, it has the T&P valve on the side so we can easily see if there are any issues. We think the drain valve should be higher on the unit so it does not sit below the top of the drain pan and should be made of metal, not plastic. We know we did not want a heater with fancy electronics or with the T&P valve on top. We also like the 9-year tank and parts warranty. October 16, 2014
