great warranty, quite operation easy to install, very quiet, it was not heavy to move to put into place, was easily done by one person, within 30 minutes we had hot water, clear instruction, factory temp settings at 120, good insulation, make sure to measure your space for height and width, has shown no leakage, have not had long enough to compare money savings. 9 year warranty is great. Didn't need computerized features Easy to install. Didn't need the computerized features as others had. March 18, 2015
easy to install Very easy to install. Gatorbites make installation a breeze. March 16, 2015
So far, so good It was easy to install and looks like a good product. I live in an area where we have frequent power outages so I wanted the simple manual controls. It has been in for less than a day so time will tell. I am replacing a 10 year AO Smith unit that went out after 5 years and hoping the 9 year Whirlpool unit will make at least 9. March 14, 2015
Nice looking unit Seems to work great, hot water in a short time. Nice looking unit. Was easy to install February 26, 2015
Very simple This was very easy to install with common tools and fittings. It's been in for 6 months and I have not had any problems at all February 22, 2015
Excellent featrures, except pressure relief should be on top. This is the second Whirlpool heater I have installed. Was easy to install, but the pressure valve should be installed initially on top, or make it easier to change. February 21, 2015
I would recommend this unit! I am not and electrician or a plumber and I spent more time draining the old unit than I did replacing it! After flushing and filling new unit, water was hot in 2 hours! I also purchased the necessary hardware separately instead of a kit for a top quality install. February 15, 2015
Easy Installation This is a replacement for the exact model that lasted 12 years in a hard water environment. Because this model is still in production, the installation was a snap ... all connections were in the right place. February 9, 2015
Repairs too fast Had less than 6 months and element needs replacing already. Disappointed! February 5, 2015
