This unit was recomended by a professional plumber. I like the 12 year waranty and the ease of installation. Access to the electrical connections and ready to use screw on fittings on top..even the packagaging was user friendly along with the directions..

This product has great features.
The purchase of the water heater was research for 2 days comparing warranty, style, price, size, manufacture, reviews and installation. After considering all the above this unit out weighed the competition by far and with the savings per year I believe we purchased the most efficient water heater. Easy as it can ever get!!!
I had been reading all the reveiws on waterheaters, but this product seem to stand out above the rest. We have a large home with young adults!! So I needed a 80 gal. tank that would keep up with the demands of our lifestyle. Because the previous junk didn't!!! And Boy! did I hear all about "No hot water" But I can say since installing this one all have been silenced. LOL For Me as the owner the ease of installation was key, little over an hour he was done. Happy! and ready to watch the game

My old water heater started leaking after 9 years and I decided to do a little comparison shopping instead of just replacing with the same brand I had. This Whirlpool model has more features and twice the warranty as my old water heater from a different manufacturer. The cost difference was minimal. I wish I had checked out my options when I purchased the old unit. If I had, I probably wouldn't have to be replacing for several more years! The Whirlpools digital display was a nice upgrade from my old water heater as well. Installation was trouble free and the unit seems to be working flawlessly. I haven't really had it long enough to rate reliability, but with a 12 year warranty I have no worries.

This product has great features
This was a 12 year warranty replacement. Was very pleased with customer service their response their actions! Very happy!
This was also an upgrade, from 50 gals to 80 gals !
