This product is a bit pricey, compared to a house water heater.
Other then the huge price difference in the house and mobile home water heaters, I have no complaints. With a tight budget, the $70 + dollars difference hurts a bit. Not sure why the mobile home version is so much more expensive. But the Whirlpool Brand is a reliable brand.

works well, plenty of hot water
Install was fairly easy. Added my own ball valve shutoff to the main water supply, will be very helpful when i do another replacement. I would like to see a mobile home whirlpool water heater with dual elements, if they're out there, could'nt find one in my area. So far, happy with my purchase, plenty of hot water.

This is a good waterheater
Easy to install and looks good.The diagram on the box has the layout of the water connection points.This unit replaced my old heater without any changes.

this will be the 3rd water heater i have installed in 5yrs. here.that is why i took an extended warrinty out on this one.i am hoping to have a better experience with this one.

this product fit good
was easy to put in had very good directions with it made the instalation a lot easier and faster to do did not have to take alot of extra time to try and make it fit took old one out and put the new one right in

Easy installation
This replacement model is 8.5" taller and lightly narrower with side and top options for installation. The installation took about 30 minutes, connecting to existing ¾” threaded piping using a large adjustable wrench, 1/4" nut driver, and Phillips screwdriver for electrical. Its weight was much lighter and size made it easy to maneuver around doorways and closet accesses by one person.
We added a drain pan (highly recommended to prevent water damage to drywall, carpet, and flooring). The piping of the drain pan took about 30 additional minutes because the pan covered the original drain hole.
Even if you have never removed or installed one before, the instructions make it simple and easy.

This Product was easy to install and is working great.
