Very easy to install and get up and running. The only disappointment was that I did not know or failed to notice that the water heater is a single element 3500w. I was concerned because I was replacing a dual 4500w water heater and I like =long= hot showers. I was pleasantly pleased after my first soaking! Only had it running for three days now but all is good so only time will tell.

Good reliable replacement
I live in a mid 80's singlewide mobile, woke up to running water under the house and our hot water heater had finally failed. looked all around town and no one except Lowes had a replacement on hand that was mobile home approved ( for more fire proof rated and insulated). When I installed the only issue we ran into was brining everything up to code. the older model we had the power ran into the bottom portion of the cover plate vs the newer style on top. I had to move the existing wire up create a junction box and extend the 10.2 wire to reach the top of the unit. the connection points for the water were still in the same location on the side and the new unit even offered connection points on top as well as a separate point for an expansion tank ( if needed). The factory circuit breaker in the mobile was a 25 (Gould) which in current date is not a standard breaker they use anymore. since the water heater only has one element that requires 3500W even though we were using the 10.2 on a 25 was not enough. went to Lowes and home depot and the do not carry the "Gould" brand of breaker switches. After further research ( on internet) found several reviews of the same set up we were doing that a 30 breaker switch was the necessary requirement for the set up to work correctly. had to bring in old switch to match up and home depot carry's the "Simmons" brand and was a direct replacement for the "Gould" breaker switch. After 3 days of flooring and drywall repair and the final install of the new unit everything was easy to wire up and the water heater only took 2 hrs to completely heat up. We have 4 kids and 2 adults in the house and after showers and baths the water heater keeps up nicely.

Good so far.
The only problem I've had so far is it is bigger around than the one I was replacing & it was going in an enclosed space. Was very hard to get the new one in.

This product was was very easy to install and the instruction manual was easy to understand. I am not a DIY kinda guy but can follow instructions. The brand I trust so it was a no brainer.
