Good standard replacement
Easy to light, makes plenty of heated water, only negative is burner/flu noise, not a lot but more than previous unit.

Awesome Water Heater Overall a Solid Unit
This water heater was very simple to install. Nothing out of the ordinary besides that my previous water heater's pressure relief valve was on the top and had a side exit pipe, and this one is on the front, but is easier to see if water is leaking from it in the long run. The starter is instant. The one thing I see being a problem is that it uses a light blinking system to show any problems with the system. (I.e. one blinking light every 3 seconds means that it i working properly and it goes all the way to 8 blinks within 3 seconds) Overall Very happy with this product.

50 gallon water heater
Just installed it yesterday at noon. Very easy to install with just simple tools. Pilot lit in about 30 seconds. Let it heat for about an hour, turned on the hot water and that was it. no mess or fuss

Why ask for my review before I've had a chance to use it too much?
1) In registering the water heater online, it asks for you to review it... well, it's in, and we've had it for 1 day -- so, I can't say.
2) Product DOES NOT come with pipe nipples to attach the hot and cold water to. Outside of box says you '...may need an installation kit'... but, says nothing about the pipe nipples. No big deal IF THEY WOULD SAY THIS ON THE BOX; but, no... you have to get it all the way home and then discover you need to make another trip back to the store.

Great Water Heater, but a bit loud
This water heater was easy to install, works great and has great features. The only negative is, it's quite a bit louder than the one it replaced when the burner is on. It's not a huge deal for me, but could be for someone who has the hot water heater installed near a bedroom. Overall, it's a great product. I really like the push button igniter and the pilot status light.

Product seemed to meet our needs.
Old water heater needed to be immediately replaced. This unit was close to what the what we were replacing. To new to compare any features.
