Sooooo simple!!!
I found this unit to be very easy and simple to install without any major fuss or problems. It had very simple instructions to follow that encourage one to have a "do it yourself!", moment. It is a very nice design with a better module for easy ignition and connections to the gas line. Ridiculously easy! Good job Whirlpool!

Not good
Have had mine almost 2 weeks, and have had the control valve replaced 3 times with one cold shower. Pilot light will not stay lighted. Bad modules, they know it but keep sending out bad ones. We will how long this one stays lighted.

I liked the new features that the new whirlpool waterheater has.
last must longer than the GE products. longer warrantee.

Lightweight and compact, good space reducer.
The size and weight of this unit was ideal and easy to install and startup went smoothly.

excellent value & easy install
Our sons purchased this for us to replace our bad one, and 1 son did the install himself to save us a gr8 deal of money, it works great we had hot water in just a short while. Good price too.

Satisfied as of now
Easy installation, fired right up, can not comment on quality as it has only operated for a week. So far so good!
I would recommend the heater now, two to five years from now who knows!
