Installation & ease of set up
I chose this water heater at Lowes because of the research I did on the product and its features. I liked the ease of starting the unit with the electronic controls rather than manually lighting the pilot the old way.

Easy to install
Replaced 20 year old water heater with this new Whirlpooo unit. It was easy to install as a direct replacement. All connections lined up with the vent, water and gas lines.

Nice Product
Simple features, and good value at Lowes. Shopped around at local plumber and HD, but liked the size and performance of Whirlpool. Despite the bad press around recent problems, Whirlpool had the winner.
